My schedule to film

My schedule consists of estimated timings, the locations, the time of day and what I will be filming on each day. I gave myself between 2 to 4 hours per day of filming to ensure that I can film as much content per verse and chorus. 8 days was plentiful to film and my plan is that after I have finished editing in the coming September, I have room to do any re-filming that may be needed. This will potentially happen two weeks in September.

Having a schedule is very important because it allows me to plan what equipment I need, as well as any props needed and also to check mine and featured actors to see if we are available to shoot the video.

Location Recce Shots

These are the locations chosen for my music video. 2 of them are during the day and one of them is during the night. The locations were chosen because they are quiet, open spaced and quite local meaning they are easy to access. This will ensure me to film as much as I can.

Costume and Prop Ideas

These are my broad ideas on types of outfits/outfit changes, props that I may use and the equipment that will also be in use. The images of the outfits aren't identical but will be of similar style.

My Storyboard ideas

Rather than traditionally going for a full storyboard with each shot being drawn and accounted for, I decided that my storyboard would consist of shots that would be apparent throughout my video. Each section goes through each chorus and verses with shots that will run throughout the video. I have drawn many types of close up shots, mid-shots and long shots as well as showing some moments where the camera would pan or track as well. Each scene has also been summarised and this includes types of movements with the camera for some shots as well as transition timings.

My Website draft...

Below are some images of the website I created, using WIX Editor. Similar to my drawn mock up of the website, this version has colours appropriate to the artist. Black background gives the website elements of seriousness amd the flame-like red writing of the masthead "Lil Skies". The image of the actual artist is on the front page, in thecentre, to draw attention to him at first glance - even though this goes against theories such as the Guttenburg Diagram, which says that users will start from the top-left of the screen down to the top-right.
The external link - "GALLERY" - will take the user to photos taken of or by the artist himself. This creates a close connection between the artist and his fans as they get exclusive pictures for them to appreciate.
The link to the mock up website with the images found online is here
