Pitching my ideas...

During the pitch

In front of a group of 6, I relayed my ideas for the music video as well as my song choice. I let them know my initial thoughts through my brainstorming process and then began to explain what ideas I had for the video. I spoke about the style of my video being performative and they all said that this was viable. To further my idea, I carried out a little reserch on a few of my friends and this was the result:
This research shows the types of questions I asked about how the video will be made. 4/5 said they would want to see a performance over a narrative, aligning with my original idea. The research further validated my use of a Hip-hop song over an EDM song choice. This concluded that my original idea is allowed to go ahead.

Feedback

After the pitch was over, the group were given a chance to ask me questions. One question was 'How are you going to incorporate different social groups in your video?' To this I replied that my video will hold elements of rich and poor and in some way I will try and demonstrate that I am able to display this component (which is mentioned on the official NEA Coursework criteria provided by OCR). Apart from this, my initial design of the video was faulted minimally, enabling me to begin mock-ups on my storyboard and website designs.
